Želva, The Company for Qualifying and employment of disabled persons, has grown out of small Želva, and was founded by the association Sožitje, upon the proposal of Employment service of Slovenia on 1991. Sožitje is the only founder and owner of the Želva.
Želva was founded with the intention of qualifying the youth with easier mental and physical handicaps and has started to work on 3.5.1991.
First there were only few youngsters, mentor and director. Today Želva assures work and employment to 370 persons (270 with invalidism).
Today Želva is a company with very branching organizational structure and includes a variety of different areas.
